My FAVORITE Books

I have recently found a few books that I LOVE. It takes a lot for me to love something, but I do. These are the coolest books ever. They are about sewing...and who doesn't love hand and homemade goods.

BOOK #1: sew what! SKiRTS: 16 simple styles you can make with fabolus fabric
by Francessa Denharthog and Carole Ann Camp

This book show you how to make a skirt from scratch. You need no pattern, just your size and measurements. It is way adorable. And there are tons of different styles of skirts. All you need is great fabric!!!

BOOK 2: amy butler's little stutches for little ones by Amy Butler

This is the funnest book. There are ton of cute ideas for babies. There are clothes, toys, bedding, and even hats and booties. I actually made the booties and the military hat for Isaac. They are adorable...and here is the hat (I haven't taken a picture of the booties yet)

PICTURES OF ISAAC

it seems that when i take pictures of the boys, that either
will's or isaac's will turn out. this was isaac's turn. the problem
with this "picutre-taking" technique is that I find my pictures
are pictualized, even before I photoshop them. is it because i
am too close, or no flash?... i have no idea...but they are still
adorable. here is my isaac:

i saw this onsie at babygap online that said
"i'm bringing chubby back"
I thought this encompassed my isaac in a
nutshell. love this squishy, cuddlebug of mine!!

Great Light

I recently read this book that told me how to take pictures of my children. Not just snapshots, but more professional style photography. Basically, turn off the flash and get into some great light and get close up and have fun. Well, this morning we went to wake up daddy and isaac and Will ended up playing in the window sill and had to grab the oppertunity to use the lighting and my new aquired skills, I don't know if the pictures are quite professional looking, but they were fun..plus photoshop helps.

Say "ChEeSe"

On Sunday Will found this hat and was running around and I thought I should grab a picture because it was funny. He would put the hat over his head and not even watch where he was going. When I told him to stand still so I could take the picture, he said "Cheese." He couldn't even see the camera to smile.

Happy Birthday WILL

Will is now three and we celebrated the day at John Deere Headquarters. Will was in heaven. They even had new equipment on display. Here is evidence of our fun time!!!

TrIcK-oR-tReAt

Here in our town they only have trick-or-treating on the day before HALLOWEEN!!! And they have a huge Parade on Halloween. Here are the few picture I took.

Will was originally going to be a fireman, but time ran short and I was unable to find a jacket, so he became our other choice...a John Deere Guy...he thought of it first. So, I got a piece of John Deere fabric and cut out the tractor and put it on his shirt. He was also supposed to wear his John Deere tool belt and tools and his John Deere Hat...last minute he literally freaked out and said he wanted to be a "bad guy," refused to put on the rest of his outfit and was a John Deere man/bad guy!!

Isaac was supposed to follow and be the fire doggy...he was an adorable dalmation...just didn't have the fireman to complete the theme...Oh Well!!!
