Month(s) in Review
I have been horrible at this blog!! Seriously, I look at everyone elses blog, meaning I go to my blog daily...and I see mine and feel like I should blog...but, then I still do nothing. I have two blogging friends, that do things I like. One, because she is busy, just does a month review and the other, sometimes, will just get on and share her thoughts. I love it. So today, there might be a little of both, but mostly the month in review.
I am only going to go back to Feb, (I thought that Christmas was a little too far!!)
The first part of February held Isaac's Birthday! I know, how bad of a mom am I to not get these up sooner...but I did take pictures!
In the morning, we made Isaac a yummy breakfast and then headed to the mall to play on the coin opperated toys. He loved it!! He is really into cars and trucks and the fact that they moved and were his size...everything was PERFECT! After that we picked up Will from school and then after Isaac's nap, we went to Chucky Cheese. This was the boys first time. They enjoyed it. They played a little, ran from toy to toy, and even got to turn in the tickets for candy at the end.

Isaacs favorite present was a book from my in-laws. The reason for this was the fact that it made sounds and it was about transportation!!! Even a month and a bit later...he still loves it! He also got a drum and music set, a magna doodle, a build a bear (that is really a dog) and a rocking horse!! He had a really great day!!! He is so much fun!

Another big deal in our house during Feburary was the Olympics. My in-laws always have a huge celebration for the opening ceremonies, where they eat foods from the host country and dress-up if able (think togas and Greece). So, we thought we would do something fun as well...but we ended up having a picnic and eating pizza instead...I sure they do that in Canada, I suppose we could have at least sprung for "canadian bacon." We watched the opening ceremonies...saw the flame lit and then proceeded to watch primarily Olympics for the next 2 weeks. I think if I see any more curling, I will die! Seriously, I think we watched some EVERYDAY!
Will's school had their own Olympics. It was adorable! His teacher really likes the Olympics, so they had to celebrate. Isaac and I were able to attend. They "speed skated" on paper plates, played Duck, Duck Goose! and Little Bear. Will did really well. And all the kids got old medals. Here are some pictures.

Isaac is spouting his independence and it is DRIVING ME NUTS! I am all for independence, but it seems that he really only wants it when we ar running really late or tired! When we walks down the stairs he refuses to hold my hand. He actually holds his arm behind his back so I can't grab it and proceeds to use the railing with the other! (We live on the second floor) Such a stinker! His new favorite movies are Bolt and Wall-E. He has also fallen in love with Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder.
Will has become obessed with Transformers. Bumblebee and Optimus Prime being his favorite, and Ironhide being a close second. He started "building" transformers with his Legos! So sweet! He will sit and play with them for HOURS!!!
Isaac is starting to talk a lot more! He is behind on the talking front, I am sure it doesn't help that he has an older brother and a mom that talk WAY too much! Oh, and that I haven't taken the pacificer away...
Miss Anna-Elizabeth is measuring about 2 weeks big, looks like she will be in the 9-ish pound weight range like her brothers! They did another ultrasound to look at her coroid plexis cysts, and they had gone away. That is a big relief. It doesn't obviously mean that all is in the clear, but basically it does! It was a huge blessing to hear that!

Will has also started developing crushes! He has one on one of his teachers (He is sitting next to her in Duck, Duck Goose). He tells us he is going to marry her in the Aa-boo Temple (translation Nauvoo). Too bad she is already married and is a good 20 years older! He like to also tell me about all the "beautiful girls" he sees. He has even informed me that I am a "beautiful girl" as well!

Anyways, I am finally done a month later! Sorry for the LONGEST POST EVER!!

Loved that you updated your blog! I totally know how you feel about doing it, because I am the exact same way. Isaac's birthday looked fun, can you believe our kids are already 2? Time has flown by.
I can't wait to see your little girl! I am so excited for you!
Lovin the new background.
Rychelle thanks for the update. You have such an adorable family. I really miss you guys a ton. I'm glad Isaac had a good B-day. And we are going to have to try that paper plate thing for the next winter Olympics party :)
I love the pictures. Could your boys be any cuter? I'm so happy to hear to Anna-Elizabeth is pretty much in the clear. I'm so looking forward to meeting her in the near future.
Love ya all
Sarah
Your boys are so big. Layla doesn't recognize Will at all. She just asked who I was looking at. It makes me sad to think that some much time has passed. I am glad to hear that you baby is doing well. It is amazing how we take for granted healthy babies, until you are faced with that possibility. Good Luck with the next month.
so big! also, so cute that Will has a crush and that he talks about "beautiful girls." how fun. miss you!
Shell, I miss you bunches and I am so happy to hear that you are doing well. Your boys are precious and I can wait for you to have Anna-Elizabeth so you can bring her home for me to meet :)
Hugs from the Hoxsie's
